Zaftig's Delicatessen
A hot brunch spot across the river, Zaftig is usually very crowded, but they take reservations. For variations on basic American brunch items like banana stuffed French toast or interesting pancakes and fine sausages, Zaftig is a cut above the S&S/Johnny D's/Neighborhood type of restaurant. Zaftig also offers an excellent, full menu of hearty, healthy but slightly tedious Eurocentric food. Delicious chicken soup. (1/99)
